What we collect
- Your name, email address, and phone number (given at checkout or signup)
- Your orders: flavors, quantities, totals, and pickup times
- Your order history
- Community content you create: posts, comments, likes, and live-chat messages
- Your profile details if you fill them in (display name, handle, city, bio)
- Your mobile phone number and your SMS consent (what you agreed to, when, and the wording you saw)
- Basic device and log data needed to run the app
How we use it
- To fulfill your orders and Sunday pickups
- To send the messages you opted into
- To run the community
- To prevent abuse and keep the app safe
- To comply with the law
Who processes it
Payments: card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles it on their secure checkout page.
Messages: order confirmations, pickup reminders, and community notifications are sent through our messaging platform, GoHighLevel, which receives your name, email, phone number, and order summary so it can deliver those emails and texts.
Hosting: the app is hosted and its data stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Lovable).
All of these act as service providers and are bound to use your data only to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Text messages
If you opt in, we text you order updates, pickup reminders, weekly drop announcements, and last-call order reminders (some are promotional). Up to 5 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our SMS Terms.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that send messages on our behalf and only to deliver the messages you asked for.
Retention
We keep account and consent records while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Deleted accounts are removed as described below.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts: reply STOP, or turn texts off on the Account page
- Opt out of email: use the unsubscribe link, or the Account page
- Delete your account from the Account page
- Email support@danthechickenman.com for access, correction, or deletion requests
Deleting your data
You can delete your account yourself any time from the Account page. This removes your profile, contact details, community posts, comments, and chat messages, and cancels any subscription. Past paid orders are kept only as anonymized accounting records (amounts and quantities, no name or contact info). You can also email us at support@danthechickenman.com and we'll take care of it.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
When we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top.
